Just wanted to say everything turned out very well for our Shuswap golf trip. The Podollan Hotel rooms by the pool rocked and we were able stroll around to each others units as we pleased! The suite was a little tight for 10 guys playing poker, but we managed.

Sorry I took so long Ross. We had a great time, the weather was plus 29 to 30, the folks at the Fairfield Inn treated us great. The golf was perfect. The folks at Shadow Ridge, Shannon Lakes, Sunset Ranch, and Gallagher's Canyon paired us up with great members that made each round fun and very enjoyable. We will be doing it again. Sorry to here about Shannon Lakes club house.

I expected more from a $105 green fee. Clubhouse is not in good condition. Pro shop was a let down if you wanted to buy anything. Fairways are tight and undulating with lots of bunkers. Greens are rock solid (rolled nice), a sandwedge will typically go 30ft after it lands. Bring a spare dozen or two. Dont really know what they were going for with tightly mown chipping areas and long unkept bunker grass. Better off to play Trickle or St Eugene for the money.

I always enjoy playing Mt. Doug. The course is well maitained and for the cost it is a win win. I love the fact that someone can enjoy a round of golf have fun be challenged and be able to golf without the insane greens fees of other courses.
